I really like the defiant mechanic from the Rebellion set; however, i've noticed something. All of the defiant cards are 2 purity (not very defiant). This is probably a balance choice; because of what they do they could be game breaking if not given heavy balance consideration.

CHALLENGE: Create a card that uses the 'defiant' mechanic and is only one purity.

This challenge is going to be balance heavy, because, at single purity the faction mixing must be considered when making the ability of the 'defiant' card.

the simplest example is 'Defiant Brute'. It could be rewritten in his current form as a single purity card. Getting a look at the opponents hand isn't that game breaking and could easily be splashed into other decks. 

--- Card Design Challenge Rules ---
1) The Judge appoints a challenge, it can be anything, making new card, redesigning an old one or whatever you wish.
2) All that wish to participate submit their card design. Each participant may only submit one entry per challenge, you may however edit your post as many times as you wish till the deadline.
3) If you edit your post you should make an additional post in this thread informing of the edit to make sure that the updated version of the card will be judged. The post should contain the full updated card details as well as a brief summary of what changed from your original submission.
4) After an announced deadline the Judge decides a winner. The winner then becomes the Judge for the next round.
5) All entries submitted before the deadline are guaranteed feedback, either in this thread or in another detailed feedback thread.

Choosing Dishonorable Anceistor as a commander reduces your max. morale by 6 for the duration of the game (per copy chosen as commander).

When Dishonorable Anceistor enters the deployed area, you lose 6 morale.

If Dishonorable Anceistor is removed from the game, you gain 6 morale.

Comment:
Okay, changed my submission because I didn't like my first one - it felt too generic.
I wanted them to be more than just existing for the mere purpose of being overcharge fodder. So, depending on the situation, it might be really tempting to actually deploy them.

Lorewise these are the anceister spirits of people who lost their honor during their lifetime - deserters, criminals and so on. While they are eager to redeem themselves, it is bad for the morale of the honorable DoD forces to have to fight alongside those kinds of spirits.

While Theron is in play, all characters not in play have their card text temporarily removed. (Any card with "when you deploy" or "when enters play" still have their effects trigger)

When Theron is removed from the game from anywhere your opponent may overcharge up to 2 times. If they do, characters they control gain +1/+1 for each card they overcharged.

PREPARE THYSELF FOR JUDGEMENT!

Judgement Criteria:
-1 purity
-defiant mechanic
-balance considerations/ playablity.


So for this challenge i chose the "defiant mechanic": When <CARDNAME> is removed from the game... etc. (includes zones such as hand, play, deck, grave)   

So where you guys wrote "removed from game" i took it to mean "Removed from the game from anywhere".
