Card Design Challenge – Rebellion

I want all of the following criteria met
•   A card that you might expect coming from the Rebellion set
•   Balanced, lore consistent, and meta defining/viable
•   Dual Faction Purity, Hybrid Faction Purity, or a card with an effect that utilizes cards from a Faction different than itself –

--- Card Design Challenge Rules ---
1) The Judge appoints a challenge, it can be anything, making new card, redesigning an old one or whatever you wish.
2) All that wish to participate submit their card design. No double posting allowed, you may however edit your post as many times till the deadline.
3) If you edit your post you should make an additional post in this thread informing of the edit to make sure that the updated version of the card will be judged. The post should contain the full updated card details as well as a brief summary of what changed from your original submission.
4) After an announced deadline the Judge decides a winner. The winner then becomes The Judge for the next round.
5) All entries submitted before the deadline are guaranteed feedback, either in this thread or in another detailed feedback thread.

At the end of each turn, each non-artificial Character you control that took combat damage this turn gains +2/+2 and becomes Artificial in addition to their other sub-types.

The name of the card is derived from the word protocol. His peace offering is just to protect the governing rule of the Overseers.

If you overcharged with a FD card, Wayfaring Battle Engineer attacks an additional time each turn, gains the Artificial subtype, and gains Charge.
If you overcharged with a Verore card, Wayfaring Battle Engineer gains the Artificial subtype and gets: "Wayfaring Battle Engineer gains +1/+1 each time you play an Ability and gains +2/+2 each time an enemy character dies."

Whenever you play a card that can be Overcharged, you may choose to get the first Overcharge on that card for free. The free overcharge is behaving as if you overcharged with a factionless card (this effect does not stack if you control several Arcane Demonic Batteries).

When you play Arcane Demonic Battery, you may overcharge it with an Exile card. If you do, it transforms into a 7/8 Escaped Arcane Demon with Consume 2.

Exploiting the power of an unwilling, wild demon. What could possibly go wrong?

Edit: Changed the free Overcharge artifact mechanic slightly to avoid the player being able to overcharge cards that require a card of a specific faction as overcharge without actually playing the required faction.
