Yes, I know scry is not an Infinity Wars term, but it needs to be. It really, really needs to be a thing.

So, what scry 1 would mean here is that you look at the top card of your deck, choose to keep it on top, or put it on the bottom.

Now, onto the meta benefits of this card: It's a very good turn 1 drop to help establish a mean early game to help put your opponent on the back foot, while even later on (or early on with the help of overcharge cards), this can help control your draws and give you some good tactical advantages.

In decks with commanders like Tempus, this is good. In decks that run Overcharge cards, this is good. In decks that just want a decent turn one body block, this is a good card. It establishes board presence, and it has decent later utility.

It's a decent tempo 1 drop in something like Tempus, but it also gives Sol more uses in a CoV/OoS deck to push through to deal some real damage.

Granted while it works best in a 1CoV/2OoS deck to get maximum benefit, even 2CoV/1OoS might a few extra ones in deck to help draw fix.

It doesn't single handedly push the deck into meta relevance itself, but in conjuncture with other cards being released, it is a decent tool to use. And if nothing else, it fulfills the premise of the contest because it's playable and desirable, even if it isn't run in vast numbers.

It's relatively balanced because of the Enemy-color purities, as well as the fact its biggest boost is only on a single unit. While it gives more omph than even support drone if its ability procs, it has a very limited number of targets for its deploy effect (although they are indeed good ones).

The 4/4 stats help keep it within kill range of normal AoE or things like Flame Dawn Commando/Lightning Blast, simply to keep it under control. But the Angel typing allows it to be a good Lucca Ascended body as well if you need the extra damage output.

All in all, I think this card would be a decent addition to the game, and it would help promote one of the more powerful and interesting deck types we could see come out of Rebellion thus far.

The morale cost is also a concern, due to the fact that Angels are a high morale deck already, but that's again to help keep the useage of these cards down to a reasonable level. This card is good, but it has things to take into consideration, even if it is very playable.

When you deploy Shapeshifter Soldier and it has no type or purity you may overcharge a character card. All Shapeshifter Soldier cards in your deck, hand, command, support and field gains its purity and type and gets bonus effects according to the card's purity(does not stack with the same purities).
In case of a card that demands 2 or 3 specific different purities you get both effects.
In case the card says purity x or y you get the purities you have from you deck among them. (if you overcharge lucca ascended and you play oos ig you get both but if you play only ig then you get only ig bonus).
(Notice the cows possibilities to dominate the meta kappa)

Exiles: When this card dies each player draws a card and then discard a card(they choose).

Warpath: -1/-0  on stats, 3 cost enrage 4, when this card becomes enraged all other Shapeshifter Soldier cards in your deck hand support command and field gains +1/+1.

***Sleepers: -1/-1 on stats, bloodthirst 3.

Target two Artificial cards to connect. Artificial Character gains +2/+2 from Artificial cards it is directly connected to and +1/+1 for all indirectly connected Artificial cards. If target Cards are already indirectly connected, you are refunded 1 resource.
Choose one:
 - Draw a card.
 - If a connected character leaves play and returns later the connection from Energy Connector is reestablished.

Flavor: As Genesis researched alongside Verore they learned how to make translucent connectors that can transfer energy without causing physical obstruction to the connected machines.

With this card you can make a network of Artificial cards to strengthen your army. How well the card will work will depend on how you network them and what cards you use in the network. For example if you connect every thing to one character then if that character dies all characters will lose the buff they had. On the other hand if networked diffrently then the loss of a character may only affect character so that the will only lose power from a subset of the network or even be unaffected by it other than the single loss of buff from the single lost character. You can even connect characters to Omnitron if you want to. As the card can be connect to Artificial Artifacts means that an Artifacts can be introduce that gives a stat boost to a network it is connected to. And with the option to reestablish a connection you can have a card like Unending Drone that upon return from the grave will reconnect to any Artificial that was connected this way with the Drone.

Question here, when you say overcharge ascended acolyte do you mean use acolyte as fodder for overcharge? or is that an activated ability of acolyte?

If I could make a suggestion for this contest... I think people need to look at some of the cards they've made and ask themselves how the card really benefits from being Unlimited. A lot of the ones I'm seeing seem like viable cards... but I'm struggling to see why you'd want to run more than 4 copies in a deck. Sorry if that seems a bit arrogant.
Always expect the worst and you can only be pleasantly surprised.
