Aleta, Immortal Caretaker + Rampaging Stag
« on: September 22, 2014, 05:52:16 PM »
When using Aleta's +0/+4 ability when raging Rampaging Stag in the same turn (let's say the stag is at 8/8) causes the stag to be 11/11 and not 11/15. This should be fixed imo.

Not sure if it works like this during other rages too (hulker, skraar, skraar's young, ape, etc.)

If you enraged the stag before using Aleta the Stag has Untouchable, which means targeting effects, like Aleta's, do not affect it. Did you use Aleta before enraging the stag? If so, that is a bug. However, if you used Aleta before enraging the stag, that's Untouchable taking effect and is fully intended.
Despite preferring to go by Xero, it's not frequently the part of my name people latch on to. Oh well. I deal with it.

Yep , order of effects does matter for Untouchable. In a similar way, Enraging the Stag won't stop removal on the opponent's initiative, because it never gets the chance to use the Enrage. The advantage is that you can buff, and then use the Untouchable effect (Particularly good for Genesis with Angelify)

The exception to this is stuff like Deflect, where it's Preemptive.
