Call the Crusade / Shrine of Victory
« on: February 24, 2013, 10:02:25 PM »
Hi guys,

Not sure if this has been discussed before. Been off the forums for a while.

But just played a game using Call the Crusade, which states that the 3 Flame Dawn Aspirants are not allowed to move from the attack zone.
But then, I played Shrine of Victory and this allowed me to exhaust the 3 Flame Dawn Aspirants and move them back into support zone.

Just wanted to discuss what you think? Maybe the Aspirants shouldn't be legal targets for the Shrine of Victory?

If this allows you to reselect the aspirants for the shrine, that's nuts. Or are they simply exhausted in the attack zone? (which would make sense lol)
Fact - 42.3% of all statistics are made up on the spot.

Not too sure what you mean by reselect,

But basically, when I activate the shrine, I can select the Aspirants and they turn red and go to the support zone.
When resolution phase finishes, they all jump back to the attack Zone.

They don't exhaust in the attack zone. From what I can see, whenever you exhaust a character, they always jump straight to support zone unless it's a Commander.

interesting... shrine of victory can be used to force-exhaust characters prior to a mass death to get them into safe support anyways. working as intended too?

+1, that's epic. There are several other ways to exhaust units too although Shrine of Victory is a good one.

This should be working as intended. Cause if someone uses Burning Prejudice on the Crusade tokens. When you deploy them they do not have haste so they exhaust in support.
Then at the beginning of your turn they will shift back to attack zone.

Awesome. Thanks for the clarification. I'm quite liking this combo!
