Im late to this one but I really enjoy these, so here's my pump music: (Adept - Secrets) and (A Day to Remember - Sometimes Youre the Hammer Sometimes Youre the Nail)
There's so many more pump songs but these are my major go-to bands.

I also really enjoyed the "Myah"s haha.

Splat is working as intended
One way or another splat is broken, either because it doesn't work how it's supposed to, or because the description of how it's supposed to work is incorrect. How about just thanking the guy for pointing it out and telling him you'll fix it? If a card says it only works on deployed characters yet it works on undeployed characters and yet you insist that everything is as intended, it just makes it seem like you aren't reading what people are saying.

we make sure the cards work as intended when released.
So what was the intention with this one? To have it give a description that it works one way and to have it work a different way in practice? Cards with misspellings and grammar mistakes are different, this one actually describes incorrect mechanics for how it works.

Im not speaking for Teremus here but you must understand that there are plenty of people who point out text issues (even us in the Council). There are many priorities right now and, starting off the new year, there are many many things that need to get done included larger bugs and planning. This has more than likely been marked down in the hundreds of reports but, because it is a functioning card that works as intended, it isn't top priority. Lastly, I can assure you that Teremus reads everything you and everyone else are saying. He is the most patient and thorough man you'll have the pleasure of speaking with. His response means he read it and most likely noted it.

There are 100 cards a set that we test, balance, and test again. The text was not always like this and it was probably changed late in development when transferring. The older text used to say that it killed target Character which is how it works now. There is a LOT of discussion that goes on behind the scenes. I think you should read this post [ ]. This post is the post made when Splat was previewed in the Weekly Quest. It has always been intended from its initial release to hit Command but, as you can read, there has also been balance concerns which we are looking at.

I hope I helped and feel free to ask any more questions.

What makes you think Splat is a bugged or an "exploit"? Last I knew, it is working as intended. Cards can be changed but Im pretty sure it's supposed to be able to hit Command.

Well, what makes me think it's bugged is the fact that the cards says 'Deal damage to target deployed Character...', so a commander shouldn't be killed if it hasn't been deployed.

Since Teremus says the card is working as intended, then the text of the card should be fixed I guess. However, I do hope the 'balance considerations' that are being made include not allowing it to target undeployed characters, the way it's working now makes it potentially way more powerfull than lightning blast, firebolt, banish and even the 'deal 10 damage to target creature' that dark wish allows you to deal. Granted, Splat requires you to sacrifice a creature, but I think it gets a little out of hand in some situations by turn 2.
There is a lot of text that needs fixed, sir. We on the Council talk a lot about balance and we work to fix these text issues and we make sure the cards work as intended when released.

what unstoppable cheats are you talking about the only exploit I really know of is splat hitting command and that can be built around.

General Game Discussion / Re: Player of the Year Voting
« on: January 30, 2015, 12:56:07 AM »
I know both Merlin and Gravecrawler and have become friends with both but I went with Adorabear for the following reasons:
Merlin, while one of the best players in the game and while he is very helpful to a lot of players, started really late into 2014. Because this is player of the year, Ill wait for Player of the Year 2015 to vote for him.
Gravecrawler is just the opposite. While he was such an inspiration to me starting out and while he was very helpful to the community, he quit the game and never returned. I see this as a sports player playing the first half and then leaving because they didn't like the sport they played. Because of this, I wouldn't give him Most Valuable Player even if he did score a couple points.
Adorabear has been here since the near beginning and has continued to dominate players and continues to be an asset to the Council (which in turn helps the game). He is so friendly to new players and is one of the most well known players in this game and probably will be for some time.
If I had the option to vote twice I would have voted for SDSakuragi for his efforts on the forums and his helpfulness to everyone.

Goodluck to everyone in the Player of the Year 2014 o/

I want to mention his efforts to the infinite-network and the council as well.

Gravecrawler was a really great guy who worked really hard side-by-side Chapmandu on getting the Infinite-Network working but just remember that he was never on the Council so you shouldn't mention that when voting for him.

Guides / Re: From newbies for newbies: Guide to the Exiles

I've always meant to give this a read! I'm currently at work but when I get home I'll give this a read and I'll definitely comment what I think! All of your guides are really helpful and organized so I'm not expecting anything different :)
Exiles might not have gotten as many cards, but they got great cards that complete a lot of decks! Just realise that a lot goes on during testing and some cards change factions or get added or removed completly. Numbers don't mean anything, its all about the heart of the cards ;D

General Game Discussion / Re: Morally Reprehensible Names
« on: January 07, 2015, 02:49:33 AM »
It is very hard to moderate the names during creation and such, I assume, but the best thing to do is Report a Player for their name and then they might get a talkin' to and their name might be changed temporarily if it is very offensive.

Flame Dawn / Re: Can Firestarter get a slight buff?
« on: January 04, 2015, 09:41:12 PM »
Hey, Hiding!

If you have any suggestions for cards or the game, the best place to put them is in the Suggestions section. While suggestions on cards is wanted and accepted, older cards are almost never changed unless there is a huge reason for it like a game breaking bug or a combo that disrupts things. With the older sets getting rotated and such, it is highly unlikely a card from the first set will be changed.
Now about Agent Coyle, Firestarter. He is perfectly fine and is an amazing attacker when placed behind multiple attackers. May I ask why you are having him hit multiple people? Consider changing how you play him so that he becomes better.
It should also be noted that Rarity in Infinity Wars means nearly nothing. Rarity encourages trading and makes card pools smaller. While Legendaries do have some unique abilities or some strong stats, they are not meant to be game winning or extremely powerful. Firestarter is a great card that is undervalued.

General Game Discussion / Re: January 3rd Stream Tournament
« on: January 04, 2015, 05:21:14 AM »
Great job with the tournament! Congrats to the winners and enjoy the prizes!

It's good to see people discussing the Champion mechanic and the Overseers but my main objection with this topic is the fact that it is titled "Why make a collectible card game not so collectible anymore?" when there hasn't been much discussion at all about whether or not Infinity Wars is still a collectible card game.

Hey there, Kungen!
I'm sorry you feel so strongly about the Overseer's change but it seems like your opinion is more about Overseers rather than the whole game as your title implies. The Overseers underwent a change due to their playstyle. They weren't a unique faction and just seemed to be flying spam. Currently, they have a unique "Champion" system that allows the player to choose a Champion (or more) that will lead their deck.
This being said, The Overseers of Solace are still very playable and people still look for these cards. Unfortunately, I did not read in your post anywhere on how this game became less of a collectible game. The only thing you mentioned is that you can't play more than one Champion. Personally, I believe Scramble to be the worst card in the game (as do many others) but, as a collector of Premium Exiles, I have collected a Premium Set of them (atleast 1 Gold Foil, Plat Foil, Gold, Plat, Foil). This is the collecting aspect of the game. I am collecting a barely playable card because I enjoy it.
May I ask why Kraos will not see much play? Kraos is great against Flame Dawn as he does 3 damage everyone when he hits the opponent's fortress. DoD can support this small damage while Flame Dawn will whither. I see you love the Overseers but maybe you should consider other playstyles rather than one that is making you feel so negatively. There are a lot of options out there and there are many, many cards for you to collect.
Do remember that this game is expanding rapidly and new cards are being released roughly every four months. New factions will be rising while others fall. These changes will make some cards stronger and others weaker. It wouldn't be a bad idea to start collecting a playset of everything just incase that card you think is horrible now suddenly becomes meta.
I hope I helped you out and if you have any more questions or concerns just post. Remember, if you have any suggestions feel free to post in the Suggestions section on the forums.
