Suggestions / a personal "Do Not Play"/"Ignore" list?
« on: May 27, 2014, 01:03:57 PM »
After playing against a Extend Time abuser who admitted to doing it for fun. And was then paired against the same player who again abused the Extend Timer. I reported the user, then came up with a possible way to overcome abusers/abusive players.

As having a Friends List how about adding a "Do Not Play" or "Ignore" list? Namely any player that you personally add to the list you wont play against or receive messages from, unless its a Rift Run, Tournament or Championship match.
I exclude Rift Run purely for the facts that if someone is added due to having a perceived unbeatable deck then this wouldn't apply to a Rift Run since the deck is unique to each Run.

Here's my thoughts on the possibility - the Pros and Cons that I can think of.

Pro's
1) Do not repeatedly play against players that abuse the system (once added to the list)
2) Do not receive messages or play against players that use foul language
3) Avoid players that use tactics that you cant win against (see Cons for the downside to this)
4) Players that do abuse the system/use foul language repeatedly have longer time between matches as no-one will play them

Cons
1) The more players you add the longer you may need to wait between matches - so use it only when necessary
2) People who use rush decks may have to wait longer (although by adding a user for doing a rush deck or unbeatable tactic your own match find time increases so I personally wouldn't ignore rush deck players)

What do you guys think about this idea?
Would you like to see it enforced?
Any other Pro's or Con's you can think of?

Game Rules / PvP Rules Of Conduct?
« on: May 27, 2014, 10:34:44 AM »
It may be worth putting some official rules of conduct for PvP matches.

eg
language used in messages,
abuse of the extend function,
etc

Although most players are reliable and decent folk a few exceptions to this have started to appear
